What We Do
The Huddleston Centre supports children and young people with disabilities and learning difficulties, and their parents and carers in Hackney. Our aim is to enable disabled people and their families to take maximum control of their lives, and play a full and active role in the community. Activities include: youth clubs, drama club, a sensory club for high needs children, residential trips, Short Breaks school holiday schemes and a summer holiday drama club in partnership with Immediate Theatre.
Our activities usually run term time and our Short Breaks offering takes place during the school holidays. These clubs provide fun and creative learning, performing arts skills, respite and leisure trips for disabled children and young people aged between 9 – 25 years. Our young people have access to recreational activities and opportunities to socialise and make friends, as well as providing much needed respite to the young people, families and carers.

- Immediate Theatre: Drama club, Mondays 6pm–8:30pm
- Sensory Club: Tuesdays 4:30pm–7:30pm
- Indi Project (Immediate Theatre): Fridays, 12pm-2:30pm
- Social Club: Fridays, 6:30pm–8pm
- Short Breaks activities during the school holidays
